Greetings! How are you? I hope you have enjoyed the holiday season and are ready to enter into an exciting year of 2013! I want to thank you in advance for taking time to read this letter as I share with you about a mission trip I’ll be serving in this winter.
From Jan 28 to Feb 4, I will be in Cambodia serving on a mission trip with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com). I will be leading a team of 11 solid leaders of our church for the first time, and I am truly honored and can’t wait to see what God does through our team. New Philadelphia’s Korean ministry has a strong connection with native pastors all over the world through a missions organization called NPWM (Native Partners for World Mission) and we’ll be visiting the partnering pastors and their churches, empowering the mighty workers of God, hosting revival services and reaching out to the children.
This is only my second mission trip; the first one was so good and knowing how God takes us from glory to glory, I’m about to jump around with excitement for this trip. If you are aware of the history of Cambodia, the enemy tried to destroy the nation and its people through the Khmer Rouge and the Killing Fields where millions of Cambodians were massacred. But as I prayed for the trip, God filled me with hope and assurance for the full redemption and healing of the Cambodians and His mighty plans for their lives.
