Hello Family & Friends,
Happy New year! I sincerely hope this finds you and your family healthy and rejoicing in the Lord. I wanted to take this time to share with you about a mission trip that I will be a part of at the end of this month.
As some of you may know, In April of 2013, I was given the opportunity by my Church, “New Philly” to be part of their first international church plant in Sydney. To say the least, church planting hasn’t been easy but it sure has been rewarding and a blessing. As I have been a part of a church plant, I have found that my heart has been burning and growing to see many turn to Jesus and be transformed in Sydney and in the nations. To think of going on a mission trip with New Philly seemed near impossible with my schedule conflicts and work commitments. But now in this season of transition, it has giving me an opportunity to be a part of the Angeles City, Philippines Mission Trip with a team of 14 from New Philly.
Our trip is planned in the New Year from the 22nd to the 30th of January of 2015. There is also another 12 teams that will be sent during the Summer, but our team is special because it will be filled with members from campuses in Korea and in Sydney. It will be exciting to see how the members of the Korea campus will respond to our Aussie lingo and flavour. But on a more important note, we will be ministering to the youth of the local churches, praying for the sick and empowering pastors and church leaders of local Native Partners for World Missions (NPWM) church network.
Finally, I would love for you to join in my excitement and partner with me on this trip. There are two ways in which you can partner with me on this missions trip. Most importantly, we need your prayers. Philippines need your prayer. We kindly ask that you partner with us in prayers. Secondly, the total cost of my trip will cost approximately $1300 AUD. I have raised 50% of the cost and still need approx $600 AUD and your support will go primarily to our airfare, but it will also help to cover some of the expenses that will be incurred in the Philippines. I am already excited to share with you heaps of testimonies when I return. I believe that God will do unbelievable & unimaginable things in Philippines and will set the tone for my 2015 to trust that God will do far greater things in the New Year.
