From December 26th to December 31st I will be serving on a missions trip with my church, New Philadelphia Church in Chennai, India! My team will consist of 13, including myself. We will be visiting local churches, schools and villages to minister to people of different castes and hosting revival services.
As you may know, India is a very diverse and colorful nation, rich in culture and religion. India is known for being under the influence of the “Caste System”. This System grants favor over a particular people group which then affects the opportunities given to that person later in life. Our team’s hope and prayer is that the power of the gospel will influence and reach the hearts of the people of Chennai.
