Hello everyone!
If you didn't know already, I am back in Korea and will be
here long term! This is beyond exciting for me because of two
reasons:
1) I will be pursuing my musical dreams like never before.
2) I will finally be going on my first
missions trip ever!
I will be going to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan for missions from January 23rd until January 30th of 2015 with New Philadelphia Church, which is the church I attend in Korea. (Check out www.newphiladelphiachurch.com for more info) I, along with 12 others, will be ministering to local congregations in Japan by partnering with local churches and do outreaches to schools and young people. But that's not it: We will be going as a dance crew (and will sing a little bit too!). If there are two things I absolutely love, it's Jesus and music, so words cannot even explain how excited I am!
I have never been to Japan before but I know that it is a very developed country with clever technology and delicious green tea Kit Kats. However, I also know that only 1% of the Japanese population is Christian, and after all the natural disasters, they are in need of a source of indestructible strength - they need Jesus! This makes my heart burn for the country and its people and I really hope you will join me in praying for Japan.
While I got you praying for Japan, I would appreciate it if you prayed for me and my team as well. By doing so, you're already partnering with me in one way! I will be sending out specific prayer requests later on.
