Dearly beloved,
Apa kabar? That's "how are you" in Indonesian language! I wanted
to take this time to share with you about a mission trip that
I'll be serving this winter.
Since last year I've feel that God is leading me to go on a
mission. Praise be to Jesus, next year I will be going to my
first ever mission trip to West Papua, Indonesia serving on a
mission trip with my church "New Philadelphia" (newphiladelphiachurch.com).
Our team consists of 12 Jesus loving people and will be
ministering to encourage local leaders through training &
revival services, also we will hold youth revival services. We
will be leaving on 12th January and we will
return on 21st January 2016.
I’m VERY excited about the opportunity God is giving me to share
the love of Jesus in West Papua. Although I myself am from
Jakarta, Indonesia but I have never been anywhere near West
Papua. In fact they look very different from the native
Indonesian and they even speak in a completely different dialect
but don't worry we can understand each other with national
language ^^
My hope for the people in West Papua is for them to find the one
and true source of life and joy, which is Jesus Christ and for
them to stop relying on occultism. People in West Papua are
hungry for truth, for love and for hope, for the One who
satisfy.
