because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.

Hello! I hope that this letter finds you and your loved ones in
full health and joy as we prepare to welcome the New Year. I’m
thankful for the relationship that we have and the opportunity
for me to share with you about a missions trip that I’ll be
sent out on this winter.
From January 31 to February 10, I will be in Chennai, India serving on missions with New Philadelphia Church (newphiladelphiachurch.com). My team is the first New Philly team being sent to Chennai and consists of 10 anointed brothers and sisters who are giving up their time to display Christ’s powerful love in this city. Chennai is an important Christian hub for India, and we’ll be doing some ground-breaking work as we minister alongside with our native pastor contact, Pastor Matthew, through leadership training, school outreaches and revival services.
As you may know, it has been 7 months since I came out to Korea and joined the community of New Philly. In July, I went on my first New Philly missions trip to West Papua, Indonesia, and it was during that time when I truly understood and started to walk out in my identity as God’s son- it is the Father’s love that empowers me to be His witness wherever I go. (Have a read of my missions testimony here.) I’ve also received many spiritual breakthroughs in the past couple months as I joined membership and leadership at New Philly, and in that process I have come to fully claim the Isaiah 61 anointing in my life and to walk out in it with greater zeal and boldness. So after 5 months since my trip to West Papua, I'm very excited to be sent out again as Christ’s ambassador to the congregations in Chennai with the purpose of empowerment and mutual edification.
