Friends and Family,
I hope that you are doing so well and that the joy of the Lord is so present in your life. I pray that this year has been full of abundance! I wanted to take some time to share with you about a mission trip that I’ll be serving on at the beginning of the next year.
Throughout the past year I have been on a journey of making God my first love again. It’s amazing to see where my heart for Him now is and how unlike ever before I long for Him and to make His name known. I think part of developing a more intimate relationship with God is to tell people about the testimony of God’s love and His faithfulness to us. I ask for you to consider partnering with me as I head to Indonesia to go and share the love that God has graciously bestowed on me.
In January, 9th-16th, I will be going with a team to Manado, Indonesia. Indonesia is a country where Christians have such a great opportunity to unite, as there are almost 800 different peoples and 722 different languages it can be an example of what the kingdom of God can look like here on Earth. Also, there is still a strong need for the Gospel to be preached as 26% of the people groups in Indonesia are still unreached. However, as an Islamic nation where over 80% of the people are muslims, Christians face a great amount of persecution. As we are sent to Indonesia, we hope to bring unity. We will be working alongside local ministers there who are being faithful in their work of building up the kingdom of God in the land of Indonesia.
As you can imagine, a trip like this requires support from a number of people. In addition to my own personal contribution, I will be raising 1,600,000 KRW to cover expenses for the trip. If you would like to join with me on this trip and financially support me, please visit the website:
Though financial support is needed, I would more importantly ask for you to consider supporting me through prayer. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to follow God's leading on the field. Please pray for the team’s unity as we are all from different backgrounds and cultures and also for protection over the team as we prepare and go out into the field. Your prayers are powerful and much needed! I will be sharing more prayer topics as we prepare and updates will be posted on Facebook while we are on the field.
