Dearest family and friends
For those who are half way across the world--those dearly missed,
and to those I see on a regular basis, I hope this finds you
well. I just wanted to share with you some exciting and
rather unexpected news. I, Mary Koh will be taking part in a
missions trip this summer!
From July 23rd to July 30th 2012, I will be going to Myanmar with
my church, “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com) and 12
brothers and sisters. I personally never would have
imagined finding myself traveling for missions purposes, but God
has graciously opened this opportunity and expanded my heart with
a clear invitation to the nation of Myanmar.
Despite recent and ongoing reformations, Myanmar is a nation that
has suffered much oppression under its former military rule. It
is our prayer to go shine the light and love of Jesus through the
anointing of the Holy Spirit. I feel extremely privileged and am
beyond excited to take part in this journey!
It would mean so much to me if you could partner with me for this
mission. First and far most, I kindly ask for your prayers. I
pray that during both the preparation period and my time on the
mission field, we would be able to display the glory and splendor
of God. Second, I would like to ask for financial support. For
this trip, I will have to fundraise 750,000 krw. If you feel led
to support me through donations big or small, you can make
donations on this site (i'd appreciate it so much!!). All in all,
I would just like to thank you for taking time to read this
