Hello hello! I hope you’ve been well. Can you believe we are already nearing the end of 2016?! It’s insane! For me, after a couple of them tough years, this year has really been one that has been renewing, healing and refreshing for me. And I feel like missions couldn’t have come at a better time. I would love to share a little about it.
From January 9th till the 16th, I will be going to Vietnam to serve with my church “New Philadelphia” (www.newphiladelphiachurch.com). I’m so so excited because it’s my first time ever going on a missions trip. I’m so amazed and humbled that God calls us even to partner with Him. He is surely already at work in that nation, and I can’t wait to partner and watch Him move in power and might and be used for His purpose!
I will be going with 11 other passionate brothers and sisters from New Philly, and having sent our first team there last year, we will be returning to minister at a wide range of ministries reaching students, business people, expats and border villagers across Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Vietnam is still a communist country and Christianity is quite a new, amounting to only approximately 9.4% of the population. Most churches still have to worship in hidden underground location. It is our heart’s desire to partner with God and sow deeper into this nation. It was by nothing but grace that I am able to taste and see this goodness of God. After seeing the way He transforms and leads our lives, I want the individuals in Vietnam to be able to taste and see this good Father too.
