And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never
heard? And how are they to hear without
someone preaching? And how can anyone preach unless they are
sent? – Romans 10:14-15
I hope this letter finds you well. I write this letter to tell
you about an exciting missions trip I’m going on this winter.
Vietnam is a costal and temperate country full of lush forests
and quickly growing cities and economies. There are 114 people
groups in Vietnam, and only 44% have been reached by the
gospel.
There are nearly 90 million people in Vietnam, and 52% are
Buddhist, but the church is expanding in the nation. A recent
praise report is that the government has allowed the Bible to
be printed in many of the major tribal languages and bible
study materials were even printed by the government printers!
Last year, New Philly sent a missions team to Vietnam for the
first time. This year I am excited as we meet with some of the
same local ministries and can help expand and encourage the
churches there. We will be ministering to students, business
people, expats, and boarder villagers between Ho Chi Minh City
and Da Nang, which are in central and southern Vietnam.
Would you like to partner with me? There are two ways that you
can join with me on this adventure. The first way is through
prayer. God moves powerfully when his people pray and that is
what we are looking for! Our team is going to be updating our
church Facebook page with prayer requests and updates so you
can pray precisely.
The second way you can partner with me is financially. I have
sown 450,000 won. On top of this, I need to raise 750,000 won.
If you would like to partner with me, please donate through
this website.
Thank you for your time, thoughts, and prayers!
God bless you.
Sincerely,
.
