Hello there!
Did you know that there are people on this Earth who still haven’t heard the name of Jesus Christ mentioned, let alone salvation through Him? Did you know that there still exist countries where there is no freedom of faith and worship of Christ is restricted?
Bangladesh is a Muslim nation and the Bengalis are one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. Even today Christians there are persecuted for their faith in Christ. Not only are Christians restricted in their faith, but many Bengalis have never heard the Gospel or about the redemptive love of Christ. This ought not to be so!
From January 28 through February 4, I will be serving as a missionary in Bangladesh and I would like to ask you to partner with me on this awesome, faith-filled mission – and it’s my first one!
Although the spiritual-cultural climate of Bangladesh may look impenetrable in the natural, in the Spirit we know that God’s heart is for the Bengali people and salvation is for them! So, myself and 10 other brothers and sisters from New Philadelphia Church will be heading into this nation to partner with indigenous pastors and missionaries to share the Gospel to people who have never heard it, to serve the local people through community initiatives, to pray for the sick “and they shall recover” (Mark 16:18), and host revival services.
Can you partner with me on this mission? There are two ways in which you can take part with me on this journey:
First, I’d like to ask you for prayer. If you go to facebook.com/newphilly, there will be daily updates from the field of our team’s progress so you can know what to pray for specifically and I’ll also be sending update emails periodically to keep you posted.
Secondly, I’d like to ask you to consider financially supporting me on this mission. I need to raise 1,125,000 krw (approx. $1050 CAD/USD) to cover some of the trip expenses and to contribute to an offering for the indigenous pastors/missionaries there.
Every bit helps. Thank you for reading!
Yours truly,
