“Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the
ends of the earth your possession.”
Psalm 2:8
Dearest friends and family,
Shalom! I pray this letter finds you and your family healthy and rejoicing because God is good! I’m very excited to share with you about a missions trip I will be going on this winter.
As I’ve been attending New Philadelphia Church for the past year in Korea, God has continuously been showing me his unrelenting love and abundant grace for me. He's been blessing me through and through, and in this season of my life, God is calling me to now be a blessing.
From December 27 of this year to January 3 next year, I will be going to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with 12 other people, and our team will be focusing on ministering to the orphans at an orphanage and doing outreach in the slums of Phnom Penh. We will also be partnering with local pastors and long-term native missionaries who faithfully serve in this nation. I’m really looking forward to going to Cambodia and bringing the Father’s love, which I have received so lavishly.
I’d like to ask you to partner with me on this trip in prayer and financial giving, because we cannot do this without God and without a family of faith. For the first, I ask that you cover my team and me in your powerful prayers as we prepare and actually go out to Phnom Penh.
For the second, I need to raise a total of 1,300,000 KRW, including my personal contribution of 390,000 KRW. If you’d like to contribute, please make a pledge on this site, and you could choose to send your donation as EFT (electronic funds transfer) or cash. If you’d like to send the donation as EFT, send it with your name. Upon actually sending the donation via EFT, please send an email to missions@newphilly.cc and include your name, who the donation is for (Phnom Penh - Gon Kim), the date it was sent, and the amount.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you so much for taking your time to read this. I am eager to bring back and share amazing testimonies of God’s faithfulness!
Sincerely,
Gon Kim
