Greetings!
Hope this letter finds you and your loved ones well in health and joy. I am very excited to share with you about a missions trip that I will be a part of this upcoming winter missions season.
[From February 2nd to the 11th] I will be serving with a team of 11 brothers and sisters in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with my church “New Philadelphia Church” (http://newphilly.cc) from Seoul, Korea. New Philly sends out multiple missions teams to the nations all throughout Asia and the Pacific each year, partnering with indigenous pastors through NPWM (Native Partners for World Missions), which is an organization founded by our mother church Jeil Sungdo Church (제일성도교회). This trip will be the 3rd New Philly team being sent to Cambodia, BUT our team will be the 1st New Philly dance crew to be sent out for missions!
Our team will be ministering with Pastor Vanna, who is a youth ministry pastor and direct disciple of Pastor Sinai (NPWM Cambodia National Director). Our home base will be the NPWM Cambodia Missions Center, which shares the complex with New Hope for Orphans – Phnom Penh. Our trip will mainly consist of orphanage ministry, having a lot of opportunities to build relationships with the youth in the children’s home, training them up in evangelism, and ministering with them during the street preaching, dance outreaches, and also the village revival services.
But I cannot simply take part in this opportunity alone. It has been proven that when missionaries are “sent” by their supporters, there is supernatural grace and covering that is essential to the calling of each trip. So I would like to invite you to partner with me on my very first dance outreach missions trip!
One way you can send me is through your prayer support. Your prayers will be much needed before, during, and after this trip. Not only will I need prayers of covering and protection as I am ministering in the field, but I also want you to join me in praying for Cambodia. Along with your prayer support, financial support is also needed for this trip to be possible. I have already made a personal contribution of 300,000 KRW and my goal is to raise the remaining 900,000 KRW, approximately 860 USD (of the total trip cost 1,200,000 KRW) by January 20th, 2013.
