"But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads
the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ
to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,
to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life.
Who is sufficient for these things?"
(2 Corinthians 2:14-16)
To my family and friends,
Hello! I hope that this letter finds you well. I am writing to you this letter because I hope to share with you this opportunity that has come up. It has been roughly about 2 years since I left New York and moved to Seoul, Korea. It definitely has been a journey, one that had its turn of surprises. To see myself still in Korea, I find it unbelievable, but I know that there is a specific purpose as well as a special grace behind the reason I am still in Korea.
This winter, I will be sent out from my church "New Philadelphia" from December 27th to January 3rd, along with my 11 other team members to New Dehli, India where We will be ministering to the youth of India in different slums of India as well as an Orphanage we have relationship with, During our stay, we will be teaching classes to the children as well as lead prayer meetings and host revival services. I believe that as we naturally are relational and just love on these children, God will open up chances to speak into their lives to bring hunger and fire!
I hope you share my enthusiasm for India! I would like to invite you to partner with me as I go and be a blessing. Two ways that you can do so: through prayer and finances. First, I would like to ask you for prayer. If you go to facebook.com/newphilly, there will be daily updates from the field of our team's progress so you can pray specifically. Secondly, including my personal contribution, I will need to raise 1,500,000 KRW to cover the trip's expenses. If you are considering giving financially, please do so through this website!
I appreciate you taking time to read this letter!
Much love,
David Han
