Hello there!
I’m halfway through my second year of full-time ministry as a
College Pastor of Emmaus Campus Ministry, the
college ministry of New Philly Church, and this summer I’m
heading out on my third mission trip; this time
to Jakarta, Indonesia.
The name “Jakarta” actually originates from the Sanskrit word “Jayakarta,” meaning “total or complete victory.” The region was given this name in centuries past when a king was overtaking the city.
I believe that the Holy Spirit will shine a revelatory light upon the hearts of this predominantly Muslim population (roughly 87% of Indonesians adhere to Islam), with its ancient history steeped in Hinduism, and they will see that King Jesus is truly the One who has total and complete victory in His hands. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:4-5). The Gospel holds the power of salvation and transformation, both in an individual and also in a nation.

I have the honor of leading 10 other New Philly members to
Jakarta. We will connect with and encourage the native pastors
and believers in Jakarta, while focusing primarily on leading an
Orientation Retreat for students of a Bible College. I am
thrilled and humbled to have the opportunity to sow into, bless,
and equip these powerful future ministers and pastors
of Indonesia!
Will you please consider partnering with me?
1. Prayer Support: visit facebook.com/newphilly and receive daily updates from the mission field to cover our team in prayer before, during and after the trip!
2. Financial Support: The total cost of the trip is 1,200,000krw. I have already sown in a personal contribution and need to raise the remaining 1,000,000krw. You can use this handy site to pledge and donate your support!
Thank you for reading! :O)
Please consider partnering with me to proclaim Jesus as the King
of kings and Lord of lords in Jakarta and to release my spiritual
inheritance of New Philly Church into the nations!
In Him,
Rona
