Greetings! I am so happy to share with you about a missions trip that I’ll be serving in this summer. I and 12 passionate, faithful people from my church “New Philadelphia Church” will be in Japan from July 27th to Aug 3rd to share God’s love and to proclaim His name. We will be visiting churches there, witnessing on the streets, and hosting revival services.
Historically Japan received the Good News much earlier than Korea, in 16th century, but now less than 1% of population is Christian. Majority (over 50%) of Japanese believes in their own religion, Shinto. Because of their cultural and religious background Japan is one of the hardest countries to evangelize, so Japan is known as “closed” country.
But, GOD IS MOVING IN JAPAN. Especially after the massive earthquake in Fukushima last year, Japanese came to realize that they need The One and they are opening their hearts. It is our prayer that as we go in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the gospel will bring healing to the land!
