Howdy! I hope this letter finds you well. I’m so excited to be writing you with good news! I wanted to take this opportunity to communicate with you about a missions trip I will be a part of at the start of the new year!
On Jan 12 through Jan 22 in 2016, I will be traveling back to the United States to Los Angeles, California to serve on a missions trip with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com) Since the move from the states to Korea, I’ve been attending this church, and my intimacy with the Lord has skyrocketed. For the first time in my life, I know absolute freedom, that spiritual gifts are for me, and that I am pleasing in the Lord’s sight. To say the least I’m joyful, and I want to share this joy and revelation with the youth of L.A.
As I scan L.A.’s current events to focus on something specific to pray for or bear in mind, I’m bombarded with recurring news of death- shootings, persecutions, abandoned youth, molestation—the list goes on. I think it’s important for me to realize that it is Jesus’ light that is needed desperately in this city, nothing else. And I want to be His hands and feet, I’m just a vessel.
I’m so excited to go, as well as witness the Lord as my Provider firsthand! There are two ways I’d like to invite you to partner with me. Firstly, I’d greatly appreciate prayer.
