Go therefore and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have
commanded you. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Dear friends,
I hope you are well! This winter (after four and a half years!) I am finally graduating from college and stepping into the “real world”! It is an exciting time for me and I want to personally thank you for having been an irreplaceable part of my undergrad journey. That said, all I have left to do is celebrate! And I can’t think of a better way to do that than by going off on a new journey as I end a previous one.
I want to take this time to share with you about a missions trip that I will be serving in this winter. From February 4th to the 11th, I will be in the Borneo region of Malaysia with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com). My team consists of 13 people who will be continuing the work established through our team from last year by ministering in longhouses and Bible colleges, praying for the sick, and hosting revival services.
I grew up going to church, but this will be my first missions outreach ever! I am really excited. My desire is to see the gospel encourage and rejuvenate the youth of Borneo’s Bible schools, the country’s future ministry leaders! They are often abandoned by their families for their faith and left in disheartening circumstances. My hope is that you will partner with me on this missions trip, firstly by supporting my team with prayer. Secondly, I will be fundraising 750,000 krw to cover some of the trip expenses. If you’d like to support me, please make your donations through this website.
Thank you for reading! Have a blessed new year!
