Dear friends,
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter! Hope you are having a great start to the year J I’d like to share about a mission trip that I will be going on soon. I hope this letter will bless you and bring you fresh excitement about how God’s Kingdom is advancing! I will be sent out to Yangon & Pinoolwin, Myanmar with nine other brothers and sisters from New Philly! Our team will be there for a week from Jan 30th to Feb 6 to strengthen and encourage students at Evangel Bible College in Yangon and Immanuel Bible College in Pyinoolwin.
I’ve ministered at these schools in 2009 and all I remember is the fire of the Holy Spirit being poured out! Many of these students are under severe persecution as they were abandoned by their families for their faith. Recently, our local contact Pastor Zam has suffered from a flood as well as severe health problems. As I am returning, my heart is burning to uplift the local ministers and sow into their lives and ministry again! I expect to see great signs and wonders during our trip, but I want to see greater moves of God after we leave through the saints of Myanmar!
11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13)
I am also excited to sow into and raise up my team! We have two members that are joining from Busan (my hometown!) and Melbourne, Australia. I have a couple of college students on board as well as a few first-time missionaries! My heart is stirred up to see them activated in powerful service and ministry in Myanmar! Please pray that I will bring out the gold from each member as a spiritual leader of the team.
With that said, may I ask you to join this missions trip with your finances and prayer? I’m raising about 800,000 won before the departure. This will be my 18th missions trip, and I’ve seen over and over again how God faithfully blessed the supporters with ALL that we brought back from the field! If you’d like to support me financially, please visit http://support.newphilly.cc and you can make your pledge there under Myanmar (Jan 2015). Thank you for your time and consideration J
His,
Myunghwa
