So then, as we have opportunity, let us
do good to everyone, and especially to those
who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10)
Hello Man of God! I hope all things are well with you. Thank you for taking this time to read this letter, and I hope this letter can bring joy and excitement to you and your family. I wanted to take this time to talk about a missions trip I will be a part of this upcoming winter.
From January 30 to February 6, I will be going to Myanmar to be a part of a missions trip with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com). My team will feature eight incredibly loving people who are taking their own time to go out and minister to local churches and bring a fresh wave of new fire onto this nation. We will also be strengthening and encouraging students at bible colleges in Yangon and Pyinoolwin, wanting to deepen their foundation in Christ Jesus
I am tremendously excited to go to Myanmar. This will not only be my first missions trip with my church, but this will be my first missions trip ever. I have always had a heart for missions ever since I was little but due to certain circumstances, I was always restricted on going. Now, however, God has opened up a door of opportunity for me this season and I wish you knew how excited I am on doing this!
I hope you will partake on this journey with me! There are two specific ways that you can help me with for this missions trip. First, I ask for you prayers. If you check out the website, facebook.com/newphilly, you will find updates on our journey and it’ll update you on specific prayer topics we’d like covering of. Second, I need to raise about 1.7 million KRW to cover my trip expenses. If you’d like to donate, you can use this support website and click on “Donate now” and further instructions will be provided. A team profile and picture will also be provided!
Thank you so much for reading, SERIOUSLY!
Yours sincerely,
Steven Shin
