Dear Freinds and family
Greetings! I hope that God is doing as many wonderful things in your life as He is in mine. I would like to share about a missions trip that I will be sent on as a Father’s son and ambassador of Christ this summer.
From July 27 to August 3, I will be sent to Tokyo, Japan on a missions trip with my church, New Philadelphia Church (newphiladelphiachurch.com). WOW! This will be my third time to Japan for missions! With God’s furious heart for Japan that He releases every year along with fresh grace and visions, our team of 13 people will be the mighty vessels for God’s kingdom for Japan this summer. We desire to proclaim Life and Hope through ministry and street evangelism. With the local ministries, we desire to spread the good news in dark places and brighten Tokyo. We will also be building deeper relationships with the local churches we have visited before on previous missions trips. We want to honor them for their sacrifices for Him and Japan.
I cannot contain and control this joy and excitement! God dramatically offered me the chance to go on missions to Japan in 2011. God gave me new clothes through the missions trip and He gave me his eyes and heart for Japan that I never asked for before. Having this heart is so great! I hope this heart will overflow onto our Japan team! The Japanese people consider Japan to be the land where the sun never sets but I desire to see Japan become the land where God’s grace, His glory, and His light will never set. I also think that God is already producing and growing His splendors through the missionaries that have come to Japan from all over the world. The Japanese people will be the splendor of His Kingdom and they will light up Japan and the ends of the earth!
