Greetings! How are you? I hope that this letter finds you and your family healthy and rejoicing in the Lord! I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you about a mission trip that I’ll be serving in this summer.
From July 23 to Aug 1, I will be in West Papua, Indonesia serving on a mission trip with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com). My team consists of 9 servant-hearted people who are giving up their vacation days and free time to go to this nation and display the love of Jesus Christ. We will be leading a retreat for the students of Erikson-Tritt Bible College, strengthening these students and further establishing them in their calling. We will also be visiting churches and ministering with these students at local services.
I’m excited to help build and equip the next generations of leaders and pastors who will bring revival in this nation. Indonesia is an Islamic nation where more than 80% of the population call themselves a Muslim. When I was at university, I went on my first missions trip to Southeast Asia where I found that many people were lost and living in fear. It grieved me so much and I wanted to see my brothers and sisters live in hope and freedom. Since then I’ve had a burning passion for Southeast Asia and that’s why I’m so excited to go to Indonesia to release the hope of the Gospel once more.

Secondly, I will be raising 1,200,000 KRW to cover some of the trip expenses (The total trip cost is 1,600,000 krw. I have already sown in a personal deposit and must fundraise the remaining amount).
