Hello beloved family and friends!
I hope you are doing well. I am contacting you because I have some exciting news to share!
If you have recieved this letter, please note that you are a valued sister/brother and a huge blessing in my life. I appreciate you and thank God for our friendship/relationship. I praise Him for what He is doing in your life (and mine), and take this opportunity to ask for prayer, love and support.
From January 23-30th 2015, New Philadelphia Church
(www.newphiladelphiachurch.com) will be sending out a team of 13
to Angeles City, Philippines. And guess who's going? ME! Yes,
this will be my first ever overseas missions trip!
Here's a little
sneak-peak into what our missions team will be
doing:
- Spending time with the youth of local congregations
- Empowering the youth through revival services
- Ministering and praying for the sick at NPWM (Native Partners
for World Mission) churches
- Empowering the local pastors and church leaders
I want you to partner with me and witness God's love and faithfulness together. Please bless me, my team, and the Philippines through the power of prayer and financial support.
1. Prayer support
"Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14).
Please pray for our team:
- Safety and protection over
our physical, mental and spiritual health.
- Team unity: for love and joy to overflow.
- To share the gospel with truth and boldness.
- To be sensitive to the Spirit.
Please pray for me:
- To know and feel God's heart for Philippines.
- Increase in faith (faith that moves mountains) and

any self-doubt, fear, and unbelief.

2. Financial support
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).
I am currently raising funds for this trip. The total trip cost is $1,290 AUD (that is approximately 1,200,000 KRW).
