Dear friends,
Hello :) It is already June of 2011, which means nearly half of the year has gone by. So much has happened in my life this year. For one, I got married!! :) The Lord has truly blessed me with a wonderful husband and a time for me to adjust to my new married life.
During this time of adjustment and rest, I am learning so much about myself. It is as if the Lord is setting me through a journey of finding who I really am. There are several things I am gaining passion for once again during this time. One of them is intercession. I am learning how to be a happy intercessor, releasing prayer out of joy and peace. And there is now a ministry opportunity for me to fully activate this role of being a happy intercessor.
From June 21 to June 30, I will be going on a mission trip to Australia with a team of 9 people from our church, New Philadelphia Church. For the most part, our team will be ministering at a conference hosted by Sydney Full Gospel Church’s English Ministry called the Full Life Ministry. This conference is expecting 50 youths and 80 young adults, along with other English Ministry churches to come and be united.
Earlier this year, I received a Bible passage that I felt was this year’s theme verse.
“Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.” - Psalm 2:8
I wondered what this would actually look like, to receive the ends of the earth as my possession. I believe that this upcoming mission trip will be able to show me what it means to ask of God and to receive all that we ask in the name of Jesus. I truly believe there will be many salvations and healings, along with the awesome love of God being poured upon the people of Australia! And I am excited!
