Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
Seasons Greetings! As we find ourselves sprinting towards the finish line of yet another year, I am looking forward to starting off the new year of 2015 with a bang!
I will be traveling to the nation of Bangladesh from January 30th to February 6th, 2015 on a missions trip with my church New Philadelphia to tell people about Jesus. The nation is approximately 90% Muslim and 9% Hindu with only about 0.3% Chrisitan. I will be sent there as the Team Preacher to proclaim the word of God. My team consists of 9 faith-filled servants of the Lord ready to trust in Him and be used to bring salvation to a land desperately in need of His light.
As some of you may know, I have been here in Korea for the last three years as an Intern Pastor and as a student of Torch Trinity Theological Seminary. This will be my first trip as a graduate of both my Intern program and Seminary. Throughout these past few years, one thing I’ve found that my heart burns for is evangelism. I believe that with the joy of the Lord as our strength, many will see salvation and be transformed on this trip and I would like to invite YOU to be a part of it.
I hope that you will share in my enthusiasm by partnering with me in two ways. First, I would like to ask you for prayer support. Second, I would like to ask you for a financial offering. I will be raising 900,000 KRW (roughly $900), the remainder after my own personal deposit.Your support will go primarily to airfare, but it will also help to cover some of the various expenses that will be incurred in Bangladesh.
