Dear Friend
I hope and pray that this letter finds you well and in God's graces. I am writing to tell you about a missions trip I will be going on this summer. From July 25th to August 1st, I will be leading a team of 13 people on a missions trip to Bangladesh. This will be my sixth trip with New Philadelphia Church, and my third time leading a team. In the past years I've been to India, Indonesia and Philippines (3 times) with New Philly, and every time God has done amazing things for His kingdom through me and my teams. We serve a God of ever increasing Glory, and I believe that this trip will be more amazing than the ones in the past! Amen!!!
Bangladesh is located near the southern part of India, and is considered one of the poorest countries in Asia. It is a Muslim nation, and the Bengali people are considered on of the most unreached people groups in the world. When we look at a country like Bangladesh, we can easily feel hopelessness. We look at the poverty, idolatry and oppression and think, "what can our week long trip do for a country like that?". But imagine with me if you will a revival that is sparked through a few churches, that sweeps through all the rest of the country. When we go, we go with God, and His hope of glory. Nothing is impossible for Him!
While in Bangladesh we will be hosting revival services with local churches, and ministering to the youth and children. The verse that I am standing on for this trip is 2 Chronicles 7:14; "if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Nothing is impossible for our God, and He will bring revival to Bangladesh! Will you stand with me in declaring this verse over Bangladesh?
In order for me to go on this trip, I need to raise 1,300,000 KRW (about $1200). I ask that you prayerfully consider sowing a financial seed into this trip. I also ask that you prayerfully consider being an intercessor for me as I am sent.
