Hello! I hope you are having a great day and both you and your family are in good health! I just wanted to take a moment of your time to give you some info on a summer mission I am embarking on this July.
For the past eight months I have been living and working in Seoul, Korea. Needless to say, it’s been an adventure. My appreciation for life has increased tremendously along with my appreciation for someone very important…God!
I recently became a member of the New Philadelphia Church here in Seoul and have since rededicated my life to Jesus and all things good that come from God. It’s been awesome, truly. New Philly has poured unto me an abundant amount of blessings and in doing so has inspired me to go on my first mission trip.
In late July I will be embarking with my mission team to the sovereign nation of Bangladesh. This is an embattled country that is constantly reeling from nationwide poverty, overpopulation and a lack of quality food supply. But our mission is not set to cure these unfortunate circumstances. But rather, we are making this trip to bring hope and light into a spiritually suffocating region of the world. And considering over 65% of the population is under 25-years-old, we (and especially myself) feel a calling to inform the youth of Bangladesh that the Lord is a loving Lord. And in that, all men can rejoice and be present in His peace. (Isaiah 55:12)
This is a very important trip for my church, my team and myself. I have grown tremendously in recent months and this mission will only increase that growth. But I need your help. I will be embarking on a spirit filled adventure that requires a solid covering in prayer. So I humbly ask you, join me in prayer to cover my team and this trip. Also, in order to go, each member is required to fundraise a certain portion of the trip fund. With the total trip cost being 1,500,000 Won, I must put together 750,000 KRW (about 680.00 USD) for the fundraising portion. Regardless, prayer is what I need most.
