Dear friends,
Greetings! I hope this letter finds you happy, healthy and giving praise to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I just wanted to take this time to share with you what the Lord has done in my life over the last two years!
It’s been almost one year since I went on my first missions’ trip to West Papua, Indonesia. I was nervous, excited, anxious and truth be told, I had a lot of fear. How was the Lord going to use me on this trip? What If I’m not good at praying for people? Why am I going on missions? These were just a few questions that ran through my mind every day as we prepared our hearts to go. As soon as I stepped off the plane in West Papua God gave me peace and my purpose was clear. This missions’ trip left me with an insatiable hunger to see more of God’s glory in all the nations. My prayers were answered when I was selected to go on a mission’s trip to Bangladesh this summer.
From July 25th to August 1st along with 12 servant-hearted people from New Philadelphia Church (www.newphiladelphiachurch.com) , I will be going to Bangladesh to “Tell of His salvation and declare His glory.” For the past few months, the Lord has really placed the Sub-Continent on my heart. I was overjoyed when Bangladesh was announced as one of the trips because I knew this was a call from the Lord, one that I have chosen to answer wholeheartedly. We will be involved in numerous revival services and orphanage ministries in various smaller cities in Bangladesh.
This past year, the Lord has worked in and through me in ways that I never thought possible. I have had a glimpse of what it means to walk in complete freedom and there is so much more to come. I have received so many blessings, so much grace; and favor in abundance that I now feel the time has come once again for me to release everything I have received. Bangladesh has a population of which 89% is predominantly Muslim. Therefore, no doubt satan will be on the attack to undermine the authority which the Lord has equipped me with. However, I walk firmly and confidently in the Word of God and I ask that you will stand with me in declaring Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against us shall prosper! Also, in order to go, I must individually raise 850,000 krw. Thank you for reading.
