Ephesians 2:10, NKJV Dear friends and family, I pray this letter finds you well. As I am writing these lines, it has now been five months since I have moved to South Korea, following the call that God placed on my heart. I have been streched beyond what I can imagine and matured so much since I have been placed here at New Philadelphia Church Itaewon campus, that I know that God is preparing me for great works. And the first opportunity for such works has presented itself in form of a short mission trip to Borneo, Malaysia. During this week long period, our team will be tending to members of the longhouse tribe community by: l visiting the different families of the tribe and strengthening relationships with other local tribes l praying for the sick, l Holding church services to invigorate and deepen the faith of the locals; l empowering the local church leaders We believe it is important to partner with the local missionaries, enabling them to further expand the Kingdom. But often times, those leaders may feel isolated from the greater body of Christ. and their resources to take care of their community are often scarce. This trip is important because we are able to impart a fresh fire to their spirit and provide a much needed support. I am excited about the opportunity and experience that lie ahead and hope you will see value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, substantial financial support is required for a trip like this from a number of people. I need to raise 1,500 000₩, which represents the equivalent of about 1,500CDA$, by January 19th. Therefore, I am seeking your financial support and prayers for this mission trip.
