Why hello there!! I hope you are doing well and this letter brings you a great amount of peace and joy from our Heavenly Father. I would like to share with you about an amazing mission trip that I will be taking part in this winter.
Starting from January 28 to February 4, I will be sent out to the great land of Cambodia. As this is my very first mission trip, and it’s with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com), I am extremely excited to see the amazing work God has been doing in this country. The team I will be serving with will be partnering with Pastor Ran Kimeng and his ministry: Cambodia Word of Hope Church. We will be ministering at a few church plants and bringing revival to the youth. Our main focus is to empower the growing Cambodian church and to release God's powerful love and healing among the orphanages we will visit.
Cambodia had such a tragic history. A group of communist ideals, the Khmer Rouge, attempted for an agricultural reform, which led to a widespread famine and deaths across the nation. As it says in Psalm 145:19, he also hears their cry and saves them. It is with our prayers that healing will take place physically and in their hearts, and also salvations will be seen throughout the country.
I hope that you are filled with the same excitement as I am and wish for great revival in Cambodia. Now, I would like to ask you for your prayers. Since this will be my first experience out on the field, I ask of prayers for strength and protection. Also keep in mind to lift up the people in Cambodia and for their hearts to turn to God.
