Dear Friends,
Hello! It's been awhile, how have you been? I hope you are
staying warm in this cold cold winter. I know you may be busy,
but I wanted to write you about the mission’s trip I'll be going
on this winter!
From Feb 2-11, I'll be traveling to Cambodia to do missions work with New Philadelphia Church (newphiladelphiachurch.com). Our church is sending 12 eager and passionate people who have given up their vacation to bring the hope of the gospel to Cambodia. We'll be focusing on a variety of different ministries, including orphanage ministry, youth evangelism, and village revival services. However a bulk of our time will be set aside for our dance ministry.
I've always had a heart for Cambodia, ever since my church in high school sent a team there in 2006. Cambodia has had a dark history, beginning with the rise of communism. This lead to poverty, starvation, and executions of people who did not fall in line. However, our purpose is not to come as saviors, but to work alongside with pastors and leaders already doing a powerful work there!
