Dear Friends & Family,
I have exciting news! I’ll be spending the last days of 2016 on short-term missions! I will be going to Chennai, India from December 26-31, 2016 with a team from New Philadelphia Church. Our team consists of NP members from Sydney, Itaewon, Busan, Sillim, and Hongdae. I will be serving as the ‘team preacher, and our team will consist of 13 wild ones for Jesus. If you know me, the Mission of God is something that my heart burns for, and I consider this the best way to spend the last days of 2016. This will be my first time to India, a land that I have always wanted to step foot into!
In our short week there, our team will be ministering and encouraging local pastors/leaders from local churches through training and revival services. We will also be reaching out to various villages in the land, and will have opportunities to minister to people of different castes. In the past, NP teams have been able to minister to women of the highest caste, and even people of the lowest cast. As Kingdom Ambassadors, our hope and prayer is to come against the injustices that birth our of the cultural caste system through the preaching of the Gospel, for it is the power of God!
