Greetings! How are you? I hope that this letter finds you and your family healthy and rejoicing in the Lord! I wanted to share with you about a mission’s trip that I am being sent on this winter.
From December 27 to Jan 3, I will be in New Delhi, India serving on a mission’s trip with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com). My team consists of 12 servant-hearted people who are giving up their vacation days and free time to go to this nation and display the love of Jesus Christ. We will be ministering at orphanages, reaching out to children in the slums, and ministering to the Kuki tribe (an ethnic minority migrant community from Manipur, Northeast India).
I’m so excited to go. India’s population rests at about 1.25 billion and only around 3% of the population professes to know Christ. I am exuberant about this opportunity to be used as God wills to witness and serve the people of this city and country. I believe God is all-powerful and I am eager to be his hands and feet. I am praying in expectation to witness and experience things my human imagination cannot conceive of.
I hope that you will share in my enthusiasm. There are two ways in which you can partner with me on this missions trip. First, and foremost I’d like to ask you for prayer. Secondly, I will be raising 1,050,000 krw (about 1,000 USD) to cover some of the trip expenses.
