From December 27 to January 3rd, I will be in
New Delhi, India serving on a mission trip with New Philadelphia
Church. I, along with 11 others, will be teaching classes in an
orphanage, leading prayer meetings and revival services. We will
do outreaches into slums and even get to share God's love with a
minority group of people from Manipur, India called the Kuki
tribe. We get to be the hands and feet of Jesus and I can't
wait to see Him pour out His love on those who have been labeled
'untouchable' by the world. Hearts and lives will be transformed
because that is what happens once people taste God's goodness.
Going to a place like India requires major
spiritual support, both prayerfully and financially as well.
It's thick spiritual atmosphere has allowed people to live in
darkness for far too long. According to UNICEF, there are 20
million orphans and 17 million child laborers in India.
However, God's fire is already burning in India many places.
One of them is a beautiful orphanage called 'Grace Home' where
God is raising up children to bring revival to the entire
nation. I love children and I am excited that I get to go
and serve these history makers.
Missions is a beautiful way to see the
Body of Christ functioning as Jesus intended. We all need to
play our part in making the world a better place. Some will
pray, some will give, and some will go. I've done all of these
at different times and this time I have been called to go.
I hope that you will share in my enthusiasm and desire to
partner with me to bless India. There are two ways that you can
do that. You can join my prayer team and/or you can help send
me financially. I need to raise $1,500 to cover my trip
expenses. I don't want to ask anyone to do something I wouldn't
be willing to do myself, so I have invested $300 of my own
money toward my trip.
With my
departure date being less than 2 months away, now the clock is
ticking.....

that! You will receive occasional e-mails from me giving you
specific needs regarding our trip. Also while I am on the trip,
there will be a Facebook page set up where you can daily follow
the progress of the team and pray for specific needs. I will post
the link to that page here closer to when we leave.
2. If you want to support me financially, you
can do it all online! Payments can be made through a Korean
bank transfer or Paypal? When transferring money, please send it
under your own name in order not to confuse our records. After
you’ve sent the transfer, you need to e-mail
missions@newphilly.cc with the following information: Your
name, New Delhi, Stephanie Grady, the date you sent it, and the
amount.
