Dear friend!
I hope you are well, healthy and either pursuing or dating a significant other at New Philadelphia! As you may know, I have been attending New Philly since the summer of 2011 and it has been life transforming. I genuinely want to thank you for being part of my life, as you have been one of the people that has helped shape who I am today. I also wanted to take the chance to share about a winter mission trip that I believe is in line with the heart of God.
From December 27 to January 3, a team of 12 including myself will be in New Delhi, India serving on a mission’s trip to minister orphan children, and members of the Kuki tribe, a Minority Northeastern Indian Ethnic group. We will be focusing on teaching classes to the children, holding prayer meetings, revival services and encouraging the local missionaries. Last year, the Holy Spirit moved powerfully bringing outpourings over the missionaries and children of Grace Home equipping them for future ministry. During one revival service, 12 people even committed their lives to be full time ministers!
As you may already know, India is a nation known for a strong spiritual environment. Last year, our New Philly Team wasn’t even able to enter the Northeastern city of Manipur due to the increased tension in the Baptist churches and a sudden spike in insurgency violence in the area. However, God still showed powerfully and one of the Team members testified that it was the best mission trip of his life. We are contending the Holy Spirit will move with more power during this trip.
