I greet you in the name of our risen Lord Jesus Christ. I hope this letter reaches you in a season of overflowing joy and fruitfulness. I am writing to share with you about a missions trip I’ll be embarking in come January of next year.
I will be in General Santos- Philippines from 23 January to 30 January 2015 together with twelve other spirit filled and inspired men and women of God on a missions trip with my church “New Philadelphia” (http://www.newphiladelphiachurch.com/wp/). Our heart for General Santos is to see a revival in the city and the love of God spread abroad in the hearts of our brethren. Therefore, we are committing to this vision by taking time off our busy schedules to visit local churches in General Santos strengthening and encouraging the pastors of Faith Tribal Ministry( who oversee churches and disciple people from the remote tribes of Mindanao), ministering to the students of Faith Bible College, holding revival services and praying for the sick.
General Santos is the southernmost city in the Philippines. Classified as a highly urbanized first class city, it is the 15th most populous city in the country with 538,086 inhabitants as per census data of 2010. We believe that there is more potential of the gospel spreading and gaining grounds in a city as populous as General Santos.
I hope that you will share in my vision and support me as I answer to the Macedonian call. There are two ways you can partner with me in this trip. First, I will like to ask for prayer. Please refer to updates from my team on facebook while on the field so you can follow on our progress in order to pray with us accordingly. Second, I will be raising 980,000 Korean Won to cover some of the trip expenses. I would very much appreciate it if you would like to sow into my trip. You can do so in one of two ways.
