Dear Family and Friends,
Greetings and blessings! I'm writing to share about my upcoming trip to Chennai, India. I'll be going with a team of 10 sent from New Philadelphia Church, where I currently attend and serve. We will be going from January 31 – February 10.
We will be going to strengthen and support the local ministries in Chennai. This will be my second short-term mission trip with New Philadelphia, and I must attest to the powerful anointing that this church carries. As healings, miracles, salvations, testimonies, and prophecies abound at a regular Sunday service, likewise and beyond do they thrive on the mission trips. We go in obedience to the Great Commission. In our obedience, we expect great things to happen. Some particular activities that we will be involved in are leadership trainings, school outreach, and revival services. It is also worth noting that this is the exact region where Apostle Thomas preached and ministered. As such, this is an important region for Christianity. If God sent Thomas as early as the 1st century, then surely He must have great plans for this region. In these critical times, as we await the return of our Lord, our obedience is crucial. In this vein we go as did Barnabas and Saul in Acts 13.
