Dear Beloved,
Hello! I hope this letter finds you well as you rejoice in the Lord and remain victorious in your faith. I just wanted to take this time to inform you about the opportunity that God has opened up for me to serve on a missions trip this winter.
I will be going to serve in the nation of India with my church New Philadelphia (newphiladelphiachurch.com), this upcoming winter with a team of 9 members. We will be doing youth and village outreaches and holding revival services while partnering with the local churches there.
More specifically, we will be going to Manipur, which is a state in the northeastern part of India. This will be the third time our church will be sending a team to this region. We have seen God move powerfully in this area as He is changing it from a politically volatile area to one that is open to His grace and love. It is such an honor to get to partner with the local churches in what God is doing in Manipur!
We will be going through the missions organization Native Partners for World Mission (NPWM) where we get to partner alongside the indigenous pastors in what their ministries are doing in the area. This past year God has been stretching and increasing my faith, and taking me deeper into His heart for His people. As I’ve been serving on staff for our college ministry, Emmaus, God has been pouring out greater revelation of who He is in my life and has showered me with an abundance of blessings. I am excited and honored to not only get to share everything that I have received with the people of Manipur, but to also see all that God has been doing in that region.
I hope that you share in my enthusiasm and excitement, and I invite you to partner with me for this trip! First, I would like to ask you for your prayers. It is important that my team and I are covered in prayer as we prepare, while we’re on the field, and also after we return. Secondly, you can partner with me financially—the total cost of the trip is 1,500,00KRW (around $1500 USD). My personal contribution for the trip will be 375,000KRW and I will be support raising the remaining cost of 1,125,000KRW.
