Greetings to you and your family! I hope you are rejoicing in your walk with the Lord. I pray that He pours his love and blessing on you! I want to share with you my plan for the summer.
From July 20-27 I will be in Indonesia serving on a mission trip with my church New Philadelphia (www.newphilly.cc). To share briefly, I grew up in Vietnam in a family of non-believers. Since I became a Christian, God has transformed my life and let me taste His true love and freedom for the first time. My heart burns to spread the gospel as I think of people who are in desperate need to know Jesus.
Indonesia, the country that I’ll be going to, is one of the most populous Muslim-majority countries. It’s also a part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area extremely susceptible to earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis. However, I believe that the fire of God will fall down on this nation, as God’s heart is burning for the people in Indonesia as His heart burns for you and I. Our team, which consists of 13 faithful servant of Christ will visit church plants in various towns and cities, giving out gifts and medicine, praying for the sick, and hosting revival services. It’s our prayer that Indonesia would experience the furious love of God that overcomes all fear and brings freedom to the captives.
