Hello! How are you? I hope that the joy of the Lord is upon you and your family, and there’s exceeding greatness in all that you do!
God has been so good to me especially for past year and a half that it has become my desire to spread the good news. By His grace and love, I was greatly privileged to grow exponentially under a great house and a great leadership. And now, as I have seen and tasted how good our God is, I have decided to take time in this summer to share the joy of knowing the Lord to a nation I consider to be home: Indonesia.
From July 20th to 27th, I will be in Indonesia serving on a mission trip with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com). My team consists of 13 servant-hearted people who are giving up their vacation days and free time to go to this nation and display the love of Jesus Christ. We will be visiting churches in various towns and cities, children ministry, praying for the sick and hosting revival services.
Growing up in Indonesia ever since I was three until I graduated from High school, Indonesia is really where I call home. Although I have participated in several Indonesian mission trips before, for some reason, God is putting new joy and expectation in my heart particularly for this trip. My excitement to witness God encountering people whom I consider as my own family and to see how the Spirit ministers into them simply cannot be put into words. Indonesia is a country that has most Muslim population on earth. Their first philosophical foundation’s rooted in Pancasila, which says “believe in the one and only Allah.” But so far as I’ve known, Indonesian people are really one of the kindest and friendliest people I have ever seen, and I believe that God’s heart is burning for them as well.
