Dear Friends,
Hello! It's been already a half year since God our father brought me away from the world and here to New Philadelphia Church (newphiladelphiachurch.com). I have been worshiping, praying, recovering, and growing inloving embrace.
But God doesn't stop here. I have been called to go to Japan for summer missions this year to do relief work as well as other forms of ministry. Did you know that Korea owes Japan for the gospel? Yes, Korea owes Japan. .A scholar during the Gojong Dynasty,named 'Sujeong Lee', learned about Christianity when she was studying in Japan and told Gojong and Empress Myungsung about the need for missionaries in Korea, and as a result, missionaries, including Appenzeller, first came to Korea. I am excited to take the gospel back to them!
I spent my early 20's in Japan, so I have many friends and close contacts there who I consider to be like family. But, sadly I never had the opportunity to pray with them, in spite of my responsibility to pray for my personal matters. Also, as a Korean, I have a responsibility to pray for Japan. Jesus, who was sad and even cried for Jerusalem's future and for the people who destroyed his city to spread the gospel to other nations, told us that all of us have a responsibility to pray and owe them our prayers. Just as God called us to find one more soul to deliver God's love, 14 people ofPhiladelphia Church became a team and are headed to Japan on July 11th.
