He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:11-12)
Greetings! I pray that this letter finds you and your family well. This year has been both a challenging and amazing year. God opened an opportunity for me to work in a startup company while serving in a thriving college ministry called Emmaus. He has put me in situations where I felt uncomfortable and inadequate. Through my weakness, God graciously poured His strength in me. Also, it was through my work place and serving in Emmaus was where I was able to grow a deeper trust in my relationship with God.
Without a doubt, God has planted an important part of His heart inside of me. I recently finished my one-year commitment serving in Emmaus. Yet, I have the strong desire to continuously be an extension of His love for young adults. This winter, I have made the decision to go minister in LA, California with 13 powerful prayer warriors from New Philadelphia Church.
From Jan.12 to Jan.22, my team and I will be ministering to youth and young adults at a local church in LA. Many young people in LA have a misconception of who God is. They may identify themselves as cultural Christians due to influence from personal experiences and family background. I want to be sent to LA because I want to see the youth in a rich relationship with God. Just like God has been pouring out His presence to the youth in Emmaus, I want to see the youth of LA be sent in that same intimacy with God.
I hope you capture my excitement for this upcoming ministry trip! There are two ways in which you can partner with me on this ministry trip.
