Dear Friends and Family,
As you know, I have been on an amazing journey teaching English in here in South Korea. Over this past year, God has led me to an amazing church where I have found deep inner healing and spiritual growth. Now, I have the opportunity to pour out all that I have received. This January, I will be traveling to Los Angeles, California with a group of 13 passionate, on-fire believers.
Why LA?
Why not?
In the past year there have been more mass shootings, reports of police brutality, and instances of injustice than ever before. If there was ever a nation in need of the light and hope found in Christ, it is this nation. We will be ministering to the youth and young adults, those most affected by this shift in culture, in the LA area. Our desire is to see their lives radically transformed and changed by the power and presence of God; to be light in a dark place.
I need your help.
First, I’d like to ask you for prayer. Please pray for this team and the work we will be doing in LA. Updates will be posted on our church Facebook page (facebook.com/newphilly), so you can pray specifically. Secondly, I will be raising 1,050,000KRW (approx. $1,000USD) to cover most of the trip expenses.
