Dear my precious brothers and sisters in Christ
Shalom! It has been about five years since I believed in God and served at New Philly. God has shown me so much of His love and grace. He gave me the purpose of my life and transformed this worrier of the world into a warrior of God. And now it is time to share what He has given: I will go on a mission trip to Malaysia to share the Father's love.
From July 21 to July 28, I will be in Malaysia serving on a missions trip with my church “New Philadelphia.” My team consists of 14 warriors who are going to fight for the expansion of Kingdom of God. We will be visiting churches in Borneo Island and praying for the sick and the poor. We will display the love of Jesus Christ.
Borneo is the place where spiritual blessings are abundant. There are about 300 congregations, 5 bible schools and many people have crazy testimonies. However, there is still more to contend. 48% of Borneo people are the indigenous who are neglected by government and even by the churches. As materialism flowed in urban areas, there is enormous gap between the poor and rich. And more than half of people believe in Islam and animism. We pray that God would use us to shake Borneo, the third largest island in the world, with His furious love. God desires this nation and craves for the people of Malaysia.
I’d like to ask you to join us in prayer. My prayer for this mission trip is that God will reveal the power of the Holy Spirit incredibly so that we can see and experience heaven opened. We are asking God for more signs and wonders. We want to witness the blind see, the deaf hear, and the lame walk! Please also pray for God’s protection over each team members and team unity. I believe that the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working (James 5:16)! In addition to prayer support, I must individually raise 1,175,000 KRW in order to go to Malaysia. I believe this is a great chance to participate in this mission trip with your spiritual, financial support. I can’t wait to see how God is going to show His tremendous love in Malaysia.
