Mingalaba! I hope this letter finds you fantastic and spectacular. I wanted to share with you about a missions trip I have the privilege and honor to be serving on this summer. I hope you can rejoice and partake in this epic journey with me!
From July 23 to July 30, I will be in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar serving with my church “New Philadelphia” (newphiladelphiachurch.com). My team is made up of 13 amazing, beloved, servant-hearted people who have given up their vacation days to go to this nation and display the love of Jesus Christ. On this trip, we will be giving and serving the native pastor, praying for the sick, and hosting revival services.
I am exploding with excitement for this trip. If you are aware of the history of Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, the nation has only recently turned from its isolationist government and is undergoing much reform. Myanmar is still ranked as one of the lowest nations in health care, by the World Health Organization, as well as a nation violating human rights laws through child labor, human trafficking, and a lack of freedom of speech. It is our prayer that as we go in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the Gospel will bring healing, justice, and reformation to the land!!
