Hey! How is it going! I hope that this letter finds you and your family well. I would like to take some time to share about an upcoming missions trip that I will be going on this summer.
From July 23rd to July 30th, I will be in Myanmar (also known as Burma), serving with my church, New Philadelphia (newphiladelphiachurch.com). I will be going alongside 12 other amazing individuals to display the love of Jesus Christ. We will be ministering at Bible schools, orphanages, and bringing revival and healing to local churches.
I am very eager and excited to go! If you do not know much about Myanmar, it is a country that has been in recent headlines. Myanmar has seen much conflict in past years. It has been under brutal and corrupt military rule for the majority of its recent history. There are heavy restrictions on the freedom of speech, and the health of the nation is poor (0.5% to 3% of the GDP is spent on healthcare), with AIDS and HIV being a major health concern. It is our prayer that as we walk in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the Gospel will bring radical life-changing healing to the land.
