Dear Brothers and Sisters
I would like to let you know about a missions opportunity that God has given to me to serve on a ministry team in Myanmar (formerly Burma) with New Philadelphia Church (newphilidalphiachurch.com). This country is one that has been ravaged by ongoing civil war and the people suffered under a formerly military government. This country has the longest running civil war. It is our belief that through the power of the gospel, this land can come out of their dark history victorious with Christ.
From January 30 to February 6, 2015, we are going to Yangon and Pyinoolwin Myanmar to work with students at Evangel Bible College and Immanuel Bible College. By empowering the students of these schools, we will be reaching many more people throughout the land of Myanmar then we would be able to reach if we tried to go to each person by ourselves. We will also have opportunities to have outreaches at local churches and revival meetings. Our missions team is being equipped to come along side of these schools and churches to reach Myanmar for Christ.
I hope that you will partner with our team in praying for Myanmar and these Bible schools. We know that Jesus Christ intercedes for us to the Father; so also we must intercede for those in need.
