Hello! I hope this year has been very meaningful for you. I have been challenged in many ways and yet again, I’m excited to share with you that I am going on my first overseas mission trip!
From Jan 30 to Feb 6, I will be serving in Myanmar with a team of mighty warriors from New Philadelphia Church (newphilly.cc). There are 11 of us, and we will be ministering at Bible colleges in Yangon and Pinoolwin, leading revival services at local churches and contending for healing. Myanmar (Burma) is a multi-religious country with it’s predominant religion being Buddhism (89%) and Christianity being only 4% of the population. We are willing to be poured out to strengthen and encourage our brothers and sisters, who will in turn bless multitudes across the nations!
I have been wanting to go on a mission trip since 2008, and I did join a New Philladelphia Church’s mission trip back then but I ended up not being able to go. A lot has happened over the past 7 years. I am very thankful that I am finally being sent out. It is also with New Philladelphia Church, just like the first time, and my team leader back then is now my team preacher again (out of the 12 other teams)! I feel reassured for my calling for missions already and I have to say that indeed, God is faithful!
