I’ve got some pretty cool news. In January 2017, I’ll be heading back to Myanmar on a missions trip with my church! Whaaaat? I had the privilege of partnering with NPWM (Native Pastors for World Missions) back in 2012, and we visited churches in Yangon, as well as Pyin Oo Lwin. The little picture to the left was our team with 6 of the native pastors from Myanmar. It was such a special time of unity, understanding that as God has called us His sons and daughters, we can extravagantly worship together, and fervently hope and pray for His kingdom to come in Myanmar! The church is called to be the light in the darkness! This year, we will actually be travelling to Myitkinya, in the Kachin State of northern Myanmar. We will be ministering to local congregations and church leaders, in addition to Christian refugee communities along the border region! Although I won't be returning to the congregations in Yangon and Pyin Oo Lwin that I worshipped alongside 4 years ago, I'm very expectant and excited to meet our Burmese brothers and sisters in Myitkyina.
Whether you’ve received 100 of these letters or this is your first one, I’d like you to know that your partnership is so vital for this trip.
