Thank you for taking time to open this letter! I hope it blesses you and brings fresh excitement about what God is doing. Even though it’s not a personalized letter, I do want to say that I am thankful and glad that you are in my life as a friend, family and partner in crime for His Kingdom!
From Jan 24 to Feb 1, God has opened up an opportunity for me to go to General Santos, the Philippines. I will be leading the team of twelve: 9 from New Philadelphia Church where I serve as an intern pastor and 3 from Melbourne, Australia. Our team is very diverse in ethnic and cultural background (I am the only native Korean who grew up in Korea!) and we are already filled with excitement and fire!
It’s my 4th missions trip to the Philippines, and 2nd time visiting the region of Gen-San. God has given me passion for the nation of Philippines, and Gen-San particularly has a special place in my heart. We will be holding revival services with youth there, as well as traveling to remote villages in the mountains. We will release the Kingdom of God in healing, deliverance, and salvation.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
I see the victory at hand. Christ is indeed for us! May I ask you to be a part of this victory through prayer and financial support? Please cover us with your prayers. Prayers of righteous men are powerful and effective! Also, I have to raise about 1,000,000krw (about $900) aside from my personal contribution.
